Quietly considered. Made to live with.
Isla Solutions is a small-batch home goods house — candles, ceramics, linens, soaps and tabletop, designed for a calmer day. Mediterranean-coastal in spirit, made by hand on the East Coast.
Five rooms. One signature.
A short, intentional range. We make a small set of pieces, well — and we’d rather you keep them on the shelf for years than replace them next season.
We don’t run flash sales. We don’t drop weekly. We make a small set of considered pieces, in cohorts of a few hundred — and we’d rather one of ours sit on your kitchen counter for ten years than for ten weeks.— Isla Marais, Founder
Built on three commitments.
Heritage materials, slow methods, and a finish you can feel. None of the three is the cheapest path — together they are the only one we are willing to ship.
Honest materials.
Belgian flax linen, Portuguese olive-oil castile, North Carolina sheep wool, North Georgia stoneware clay. We name our suppliers on every product page — if a piece comes from a single mill, you’ll see the mill’s name.
Hands, not lines.
Every candle is hand-poured. Every vase is hand-thrown. Every linen seam is sewn by a small Charleston team that we know by name. Cohorts run a few hundred at a time — small enough that we sign each batch ledger.
A finish that ages.
The candles burn down evenly. The stoneware develops a soft patina. The linens loosen and soften with each wash. Nothing we make is brittle — it’s built to wear in, not wear out.
A short range, on purpose.
No SKU bloat. Five rooms in the home. A few well-made pieces in each — most of them in a single colorway, because the right one is enough.
Cedar, sage, vetiver.
Three scents. Two sizes. Soy-coconut blend, cotton wick, hand-poured into a stoneware vessel that you’ll keep long after the wax is gone.
One vase, two sizes.
Hand-thrown sand-coloured stoneware. The small vase holds a single olive branch. The large vase holds a five-stem arrangement. That’s the whole vase line. We’re not adding a third.
Belgian flax, Carolina wool.
Pillow covers, tea towels, bedding sets and throws. Pre-washed Belgian flax linen and undyed Carolina wool. Two colourways: sand and cream.
Cold-process Portuguese olive-oil castile. Hand-cut bars, hand-balm, almond body cream, lavender bath soak. Plant-based, no plastic, no synthetic fragrance.
Stoneware mugs & dinner sets.
Mugs in 4-piece sets, dinner sets in 4-piece. The same hand-thrown clay as our vases. Microwave and dishwasher safe — built for actual breakfast.
Numbered cohorts.
The Heritage Wool Throw and Linen Bedding Set release in small numbered cohorts. Once a cohort is gone, it is gone — we do not back-order or restock heritage cohorts.
